Master T2MC - Transition metals in molecular chemistry

The Master “Molecular Chemistry” with the “Transition Metals in Molecular Chemistry” (T2MC) specialization focuses on training skillful chemists capable of managing the various research, development and/or organizational aspects of a molecular chemistry project as well as making them aware of the modern constraints of chemistry (saving of material and energy, respect for the people safety, the environment and goods). Students are therefore trained in research and in being capable to integrate into the professional world.

Backed by the research activites of ICMUB (Institute of Molecular Chemistry of the Université de Dijon) and UTINAM (Universe, Time-Frequency, Interfaces, Nanostructures, Atmosphere and environment, Molecules), this training offer is oriented towards the fields of organometallic and coordination chemistry and their use for clean chemistry and sustainable development.

Moreover, it will also allow students to study the applications of molecular chemistry in the field of medical imaging, a new research area developed at ICMUB.

Last but not least, courses are mainly taught in English and will favour the student’s integration into the job market which is becoming more and more globalized. It is also an advantage for welcoming international students, and in particular students from the M1 of the University of Chemistry and Technology of Prague (UCT Prague).

Engineering and Innovation through Physical Sciences, High-technologies, and cross-dIsciplinary research
