The internship
During this course, you will have to complete an internship that shall not exceed 5 months in M1 and 6 months in M2 (if you do not choose to do block release training this year). This internship can be performed in France or abroad within a firm or an academic laboratory.
In order to complete your internship agreement, you will need to provide some documents:
- Civil liability covering the internship’s duration
- If it does not cover your internship’s duration, you will have to file a sworn statement (ask your secretariat for the document).
Step 1: Student and Host Organisation
Students can retrieve the internship agreement at the secretariat (or can print it in 4 copies after having received it by email), complete it and have it signed by one of the master’s supervisors.
Step 2: Host organization
The internship agreement is sent to the host organization in order to be completed and signed.
Step 3: Signatures
The internship agreement is returned to the UFR Sciences et Techniques to be signed by the dean of the UFR along with the student’s substantiating documents. It is sent to UBFC in Besançon for a last signature.
Step 4: Internship agreement completed
As soon as the internship agreement is returned, an original copy is delivered to the UFR, the student, the student’s tutor and the host organization.
In order to complete your internship agreement, you will need to provide some documents:
- Civil liability covering the internship’s duration
- If it does not cover your internship’s duration, you will have to file a sworn statement (ask your secretariat for the document).
- Certificate of repatriation insurance and legal assistance
- The CPAM document completed
- The “Country file” document completed
Step 1: Getting the documents
Students receives by email the internship agreement in English, the “Country file” document and the CPAM document. Then, students should:
- Complete their part, without signing it
- Send the internship agreement by email to their host organization so that they fill out the document
- The host organization prints the contract in 4 copies and returns them by postal services to the secretariat (or by mail).
Step 2: Urgently deal with the CPAM document
To start with, this file must be completed by students who must return it to their secretariat afterwards. It is then signed by the dean of the UFR then given back to students. Last but not least, students have to hand over the document to their CPAM agency for a last signature.
Careful : It is highly recommanded for students to ask their CPAM agency for a copy of the document with a date stamp (to return to their secretariat).
Step 3: Reception of the internship agreement completed by the host organization
Once the agreement is returned, students sign their agreement and have their supervisor sign it as well.
Step 4: Transmission of the agreement and supporting documents to the UFR
Once the CPAM document is completed, along with the other asked documents, the internship agreement is signed by the dean of the UFR and then sent to the UBFC in Besançon for a last signature.
Step 5: Internship agreement completed
As soon as the internship agreement is returned, an original copy is delivered to the UFR, the student, the student’s tutor and the host organization.
